The gospel is the good news that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save humanity from sin and restore our relationship with Him. All have sinned and fall short of God's glory (Romans 3:23), and the consequence of sin is death—eternal separation from God (Romans 6:23). But because of His great love, God sent Jesus, who lived a sinless life and died on the cross as our substitute (Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24). He rose from the dead, proving His power over sin and death (Romans 4:25).
Salvation is a free gift received by grace through faith—not by works (Ephesians 2:8–9). To be saved, you must repent (turn away from sin) and believe that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead (Acts 3:19; Romans 10:9–10). When you believe, you are born again by the Holy Spirit (John 3:3–5) and become a child of God (John 1:12).
You do not need to wait until Sunday. You do not need to wait on a pastor. You can accept Jesus right now by believing in Him and confessing that He is now your Lord who died and rose from the dead for your sins.
