Welcome to Day 10 of the ’26 Disruption Consecration! 10 is the number of government! On this final day of our fast, be intentional with your decrees. If you decree a thing, it shall be established.

Yesterday, we spoke about directing your mind to conclude the 3 day focus on mental warfare. Today, we are going to talk about the the beauty of shutting doors.

Today's meditation verses are:

Revelation 3:7 NLT

Write this letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia.

This is the message from the one who is holy and true, the one who has the key of David. What he opens, no one can close; and what he closes, no one can open

Ecclesiastes 7:8a NLT

Finishing is better than starting.

Congratulations!

You have made it to Day 10 of the fast, and I want to celebrate you. Whether you were consistent from Day 1 or on and off throughout these 10 days, all that matters is that you are here, right now, at the finish line (Philippians 3:13–14). You are preparing to close the door on this consecration.

On this final day, I invite you to do two things:

Reflect

Ask yourself:

  • Was my time during this fast impactful? If so, how?

  • What did I learn or gain?

  • What experiences did I have with God?

  • What will I do differently the next time I fast?

Feel free to share in the comments and encourage your brothers and sisters in Christ (Psalm 77:11–12; 2 Corinthians 13:5).

Celebrate

As human beings, we often struggle with endings. We struggle with saying goodbye to old places, old people, old habits, and old things (Ecclesiastes 3:1–6).

For those who were members of our former ministry, YouthForChrist305+, recall when I announced that the ministry was ending. Some of you grieved. I understand why—you believed the discipleship you received was coming to an end. That response reveals something important about how we process letting go.

The truth is, we often hate when things we like end—even when those things are damaging to us (Exodus 16:2–3). During this fast, some of you may have vowed to God that you would never do certain things again. I want to caution you here: vows to God are dangerous. Scripture actually advises us not to make them lightly, because God requires that vows be kept (Ecclesiastes 5:4–5).

Beyond that, there is a deeper issue:Mentally, we want to say goodbye.Spiritually, we want to say goodbye. But physically and carnally, we are still grieving while closing doors (Galatians 5:17).

There were many times in my life when I grieved losing loved ones, relationships, opportunities, and more. And I had to come to a hard realization: some of those losses were not attacks from the enemy. Some doors were shut by God Himself (Revelation 3:7).

Why waste time mourning what cannot be reopened? Some things cannot be recovered because God closed the door—and crying over it or trying to retrieve it only delays healing and obedience (Isaiah 43:18–19).

Instead, I learned to celebrate God-endings. I learned to thank Him for closing doors and to appreciate Him for removing people, places, things, and opportunities. God removes things to make space. He allows some things to disappear so that what He has ordained can appear (John 15:2).

John the Baptist understood this when he said, “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30).Instead of asking God, “Why did You take this away?” we should begin thanking Him for what is on the way (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

In my lifetime and through my understanding of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, I have never seen God take something away without replacing it with something better (Romans 8:28).

He took Egypt to give the children of Israel Canaan—and yet they cried over Egypt while Canaan was on the way (Numbers 11:4–6). They preferred slavery because it was familiar, choosing comfort over the pain of growth and transition.

Let me share what God told me so we can rejoice together: You do not have to hold on to low-level things that helped you survive in the last season, because My grace is sufficient to help you thrive in the next (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Do not mourn Saul when David is coming (1 Samuel 16:1).Do not mourn what Job lost when double is on the way (Job 42:10).The same God who shuts doors no one can open is the God who opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:7).

Yes, the fast is over—but the glory is not (Haggai 2:9). This does not mean reverting to old ways. You have the choice to keep the fire burning (Leviticus 6:12–13).

God told me to tell you this: He has more for you after this, as long as you have more to surrender after this—more time with Him, more prayer, more study of the Word, and even more fasting (James 4:8; Matthew 6:6).

Some may say, “The community is gone. The devotionals are gone.” No.

As the founding Pastor of Cultivating Kingdom Citizens (CKC), it is my honor to share that February continues the work we began in 2026: The Year of Disruption.

Our February Focus is: Apocalyptic Exposure: NO MORE HIDING (Luke 8:17).

Revelation is not just a what—it is a Who: Jesus Christ, the King, who brought light into darkness and exposed what was hidden (John 1:4–5; Revelation 1:1).

In February, we will have:

  • Weekly Decrees — devotionals released every Monday at midnight, written by our Executive Team

  • Monthly Briefing — Bible study on the second Monday of the month, 8:45–10:00 PM

  • Monthly Summons — a 12-hour fast on the last Friday of the month, followed by Prayer at the Midnight Gate from 11:30 PM–12:30 AM

You do not want to miss it.

So even now, celebrate this ending. Celebrate the closed door. Thank God for what He has done—and anticipate what is coming. The latter glory will be greater than the former glory, in Jesus’ name (Haggai 2:9).

I decree and declare that the glory of the temple of the Holy Spirit—your body—will be greater at the end of this year than it was at the beginning (1 Corinthians 6:19; Proverbs 4:18).

As the Spirit leads, share in the comments how today’s fast or devotional has impacted you. Release a word of encouragement to someone else in this consecration. We are not walking alone. We are in this together.
