Welcome to Day Seven of the ’26 Disruption Consecration! Seven represents completion. Let this be your note to push until the very end!
Yesterday, we spoke about the importance of separating from what you want to get rid of. Today, we will speak about one of the benefits of fasting: restoring the proper order of your mind.

Today's meditation verses are:
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NLT
3 We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.4 We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.5 We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
I know I promised to keep these devotionals short, but this one is personal.
Today, I had a dream that someone was trying to abuse me. When I called them out on their abuse, they accused me of having a mental illness. Throughout the dream, every figure of authority tried to label me as mentally unstable, and I kept fighting back. The entire dream was an argument. I woke up drenched in sweat, even though my bedroom was freezing. The reality was simple: I was fighting in my sleep.
Many do not realize that dreams are a connection to the spirit realm, and activity in the spirit manifests in the natural one way or another (Job 33:14–18; Acts 2:17).
I carried this dream with me all day. I kept asking myself, Why would they accuse me of having a mental disorder when they were the ones treating me wrong? Then it hit me.
That is exactly what the devil does.
When you attempt to call him out on his foolishness, he tells you there is something wrong with how you are thinking. He is the accuser of the brethren and the father of lies (Revelation 12:10; John 8:44).
I had to look in the mirror and ask myself some hard questions.
What happened to you? When did you allow another voice to talk you out of your personal convictions? When did people’s opinions begin to dictate your dedication to Christ? When did you start caring about being called “crazy” because of your passion and commitment to the Kingdom? When did you become a watered-down, people-pleasing Christian?
The truth is, it all began in my mind.
At some point, I allowed what was normal to be redefined as excessive, and what was necessary to be redefined as optional. I allowed my thinking to drift out of alignment. Mental disorder may sound like mental illness, but it goes deeper than that. When something is in “disorder,” it is not in order. It is out of alignment. It is functioning contrary to how it was created to function (Romans 12:2).
God never created Adam to think contrary to Him. Adam was so in tune with God that God gave him the liberty to name the animals because Adam thought the way God thought—until the serpent came and polluted his thinking (Genesis 2:19; Genesis 3:1–6). At that point, a fruit that would have never been touched suddenly became permissible. Ask yourself: Where has the enemy corrupted my mind to make me think wrong is right and right is wrong?
If the same mind that was in Christ Jesus is supposed to be in me, when did I stop thinking the way Christ thinks (Philippians 2:5)?
Once you locate the polluting thoughts, the Bible makes it abundantly clear how to deal with them. We must capture our thoughts and teach them obedience (2 Corinthians 10:3–5). In the name of Jesus, every rebellious thought polluting our minds today is taken captive. We decree and declare that the same mind that was in Christ will be in us. We set our minds on things above and not on earthly things (Colossians 3:2). We train our thoughts to obey Christ.
We repent of mental disorder and come into mental alignment with the Word of God. We will love what God loves and hate what God hates.
The Word says we use God’s mighty weapons to demolish strongholds, including human reasoning (2 Corinthians 10:4–5). That is mind-blowing. Human reasoning is described as a stronghold. What if you are not bound by witchcraft, but by a thought? What if the bondage is simply a seed sent to attack your mind?
Isn’t that the very condition of atheism? Human reasoning attempts to logically explain a God who cannot be measured, and that reasoning becomes the very thing that blocks revelation (1 Corinthians 1:20–25). Scripture defines arguments as something to be destroyed, not entertained. When will we stop having conversations with things that should have been annihilated?
Lastly, the Bible describes thoughts themselves as rebellious. This is personification. How can thoughts disobey—or be taught to obey? Because thoughts are not merely imagination. They are seeds. They originate from spiritual sources. God, who is seated in the highest place, declares that His thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8–9). Because He is seated higher, the thoughts He releases are higher.
Rid yourself of low-level thinking and bottom-feeding intuitions. Ask God to take you higher.
I will finish this tomorrow, but, for now, repeat after me:
I take my mind back in the name of Jesus. Mind be renewed. Mind be restored.Mind be aligned with the Word of God.

As the Spirit leads, share in the comments how today’s fast or devotional has impacted you. Release a word of encouragement to someone else in this consecration. We are not walking alone. We are in this together.

🤯.
Today’s fast/devotional has impacted my life. As someone who battles with overthinking, overwhelming thoughts, and imaginations this was something I needed in my spirit. To the person going through this, you are not alone and you are not your thoughts. You are a child of God and not defined by your situation. You have the power and authority to take your mind back and put your flesh under submission. This was a huge reminder to be intentional with who’s around me and what seeds I allow in this temple even it seems unharmful. And lastly this line stood out to me from the devotional -“Scripture defines arguments as something to be destroyed, not entertained. When will we stop having conversations…
